What your people experience in Vero
A Vero course is not a video to sit through or a slide deck to click past. It is a conversation. Vero teaches the skill, asks you to use it, listens to how you answer, and adjusts — explaining more where you are stuck, moving faster where you already know it, and grounding everything in how your company actually works.
A session, step by step
Here is what a single course session looks like from the learner's seat.
- Step 1 — It starts where you are. The session opens with what you are here to learn and why it matters in your role. If you already know part of it, use Test out to skip ahead.
- Step 2 — Explain, example, check. Vero teaches one idea at a time, shows it in an example drawn from your company's own material, then asks you to apply it before moving on.
- Step 3 — It adjusts as you go. Answer confidently and the session picks up pace. Struggle, and Vero slows down, reframes the idea, and tries again from a different angle. No two people get the same session.
- Step 4 — You practice, not just read. Depending on the course: branching scenarios, role-play with a realistic counterpart, guided hands-on labs, or code labs — with your answers graded against a rubric, not a multiple-choice key.
- Step 5 — It speaks your company's language. Sessions teach from your documents and use your terminology, your tools, and your way of doing things, so what you learn is what you will actually do on Monday.
The same course. A different session for every person.
One catalog course, two learners, two very different conversations.
Learner A · new to the role. Vero: “Your customer says the delay will cost them a contract. Using our escalation policy, what do you say first — and what do you avoid?” Learner: “I'd apologize and tell them we're looking into it.” Vero: “Apologizing is fine, but our policy starts with acknowledging the business impact, then naming the escalation. Let's look at an example from the Escalation Policy, then try again.”
Learner B · experienced. Vero: “Your customer says the delay will cost them a contract. Using our escalation policy, what do you say first — and what do you avoid?” Learner: “Acknowledge the impact, say I'm escalating to a Tier 2 lead now, and avoid promising a timeline I can't guarantee.” Vero: “That's the sequence. One refinement: name the person you're escalating to. Ready for a harder scenario?”
Why this is the best way to learn
- Personalized for every person, at any scale. A tutor for one person is the oldest and best way to learn a skill. Vero gives that to every employee at once: each session is shaped by the learner's answers, not by a script written for the average.
- Built on your company, not a generic example. Vero teaches from your playbooks, policies, and product docs. Learners see their own tools and workflows, so nothing has to be translated from "training" into "the job."
- Slows down when you need it. When an answer shows a gap, Vero does not move on. It explains again in a different way, offers another example, and checks again — the thing a good manager does and a video never can.
- Speeds up when you don't. Already know part of it? Skip ahead with Test out, or let the session move quickly through what you show you have mastered. Nobody sits through material they already know.
- Practice until it sticks. Role-play, scenarios, and labs let people try the skill in a safe setting as many times as they need, with rubric-based feedback each time. You learn by doing, not by watching someone else do it.
- Understanding is checked, not assumed. Completion means Vero confirmed the person can apply the skill, not that they reached the last slide. That is the same evidence that feeds the proficiency views your managers see.
And what your managers see
Every session produces evidence: which skills each person has demonstrated, where they needed more support, and how the team is progressing. No quizzes bolted on at the end — the proof comes from the training itself.
Bring this to your team
Start with one real training need and one set of your own documents. Vero builds the first course in minutes; your people will feel the difference in the first session.
