AI readiness audit
A hands-on audit from the OneRange team. We baseline how employees, managers, leaders, and your AI infrastructure are actually adopting AI — then deliver an executive-ready report and a 90-day plan
Audit every layer of your organization
Real signal on where AI adoption is landing — and where it's stalling
- Employees — Day-to-day AI tool usage, prompt fluency, and where AI is (and isn't) fitting into real workflows
- Managers — Team-level enablement, policy awareness, coaching capacity, and comfort reviewing AI-assisted work
- Leaders — Strategy, governance, investment posture, and organization-wide readiness for AI-driven change
- Tech Stack & AI Infrastructure — Tools in use, coverage gaps, security posture, and how your current AI stack maps to real workforce needs
Your executive-ready readiness report
A written deliverable your leadership team can act on — plus a live walkthrough
- Baseline AI Readiness Score — Scored by role, team, and function so leaders see exactly where the org stands

- 90-Day Rollout Plan — A concrete sequenced plan for the next quarter — training, tooling, and governance
- Executive-Ready Report — Board-ready PDF plus a live walkthrough of the findings with your leadership team
- Confidential Handling — All responses collected under NDA; individual answers never shared with your team
A focused 2–3 week engagement

- Executive teams that need a defensible baseline
Flat Rate
A single flat project fee for the full audit and report. Scope is confirmed on the intro call so you know exactly what's included before you commit
What the audit covers that a self-serve assessment cannot
The free assessment is one leader's view of the organization. The audit is evidence collected from the organization itself
- Evidence from the workforce, not one respondent — We survey employees, managers, and leaders directly, so the score reflects how AI is actually being used rather than how leadership believes it is being used. The gap between those two views is usually the most useful finding in the report
- Scored by division, function, and role — A single company-level number hides the fact that one function is three stages ahead of another. We score each group separately so investment lands where the constraint actually is
- Interviews that explain the numbers — Targeted interviews with managers and leaders surface the reasons behind a low score — policy confusion, tooling gaps, missing sponsorship — which a multiple-choice instrument cannot capture
- Benchmarking against comparable organizations — Your scores are placed against organizations of similar size and sector, so leadership can see whether a result is a genuine gap or an industry-wide norm
- Skill gaps mapped to a 10,000+ skill taxonomy — Readiness becomes a named list of hard and soft skills by role, which is what a training plan and a budget request are actually built from
- Confidential handling and an executive readout — Everything is collected under NDA, individual answers are never shared with your team, and the findings are presented live to your leadership group with time for questions
What we need from you
The engagement is deliberately light on your team's time — most of the work sits with us
- An executive sponsor — One accountable leader who can approve scope, open doors across functions, and receive the readout. Typically a People, L&D, or Transformation lead
- The list of functions in scope — Which teams, divisions, or regions the audit should cover, and roughly how many people sit in each. This drives the survey design and the scoring cuts in the report
- A two-week survey window — A defined period when the workforce survey is live, with one internal announcement from the sponsor. Completion takes each respondent under fifteen minutes
- Six to ten interview slots — Thirty-minute conversations with a mix of managers and leaders, scheduled inside the survey window so analysis can start immediately after it closes
- Your current AI tooling and policy documents — Whatever exists today — an acceptable-use policy, an approved-tool list, license counts. If none of it exists, that is itself a finding, not a blocker
Start with the free assessment
If you want a directional read before committing to an engagement, take the free AI readiness assessment first. Twenty-four questions across the same six dimensions the audit scores, a 0–100 organizational score, flagged risks, and a 30/60/90 plan — scored in your browser in about ten minutes. Most teams use it to decide whether they need the full audit and to give the kickoff call a starting point
- Six dimensions scored 0–100: strategy, governance, data, talent, adoption, and measurement
- Flagged risks naming what your current setup is exposed to today
- A 30/60/90 plan generated from your three weakest dimensions
- Self-reported and self-scored — one person's view, not an organizational baseline
Frequently asked questions
How long does the audit take?
Typical engagements run 2–3 weeks from kickoff to executive readout, depending on workforce size and functions in scope
How do you collect data?
A structured workforce survey, targeted manager and leader interviews, and a short intake on your current AI tooling and policies. All under NDA
Do we need to use the Vero platform?
No. The audit is a standalone engagement. Many teams use the findings to shape their own rollout; others move on to Vero for the training itself
Who typically owns this?
Usually People, L&D, or Transformation leads — often co-sponsored by a CTO, CIO, or Chief AI Officer
What happens after the report?
You keep the report and the plan. If you want help executing, we can scope a training rollout on Vero as a separate engagement
How is this different from the free AI readiness assessment?
The free assessment is a self-scored instrument that gives one leader a directional 0–100 read in ten minutes. The audit collects evidence from your workforce directly, scores by division and role, benchmarks against comparable organizations, and delivers an executive readout. Many teams take the free assessment first and bring the result to the kickoff call
How much of our team's time does the audit take?
Under fifteen minutes per survey respondent, six to ten thirty-minute interviews with managers and leaders, and a single thirty-minute kickoff call with the sponsor. Everything else sits with our team
