How the score is calculated
Each question is scored on a four-point maturity scale. Dimension scores are normalized to 0-100 and combined into a weighted overall score, which maps to one of five stages: Exploring, Experimenting, Operationalizing, Scaling, or Leading.
The report names your binding constraint — the weakest dimension — rather than averaging strengths and weaknesses into one reassuring number.
How to get the most out of your results
- Have three or four leaders complete it independently — the spread is more revealing than the average
- Score the organization you have, not the one in the deck: answer on observed behavior
- Fix the floor first — a low governance or strategy score caps everything downstream
- Re-run it quarterly; the score is only useful as a trend line
- Pair it with a skills baseline so individual fluency is measured, not assumed
