What we shipped in Vero in July — the Vero AI Catalog, a redesigned Skill Assessments experience, and the new AI Readiness Analytics section
July was a big month for the top of the funnel — how buyers discover Vero content, how teams measure people against skills, and how leaders see AI readiness across their organization. Three things shipped that we think are worth a closer look: the Vero AI Catalog, a redesigned Skill Assessments experience, and the new AI Readiness Analytics section.
The Vero AI Catalog
The Vero AI Catalog is a public, browsable library of every course, pathway, certification, and skill assessment we've built — searchable by role, function, and skill, with no login required. Admins can preview the exact learner experience before assigning anything to their team, and buyers can send a direct link to a stakeholder to make the case without a demo.
When you click into a catalog item, you now see a clean, published-style detail page — what the course or assessment is about, who it's for, the skills it covers, the assessment format, and a "What to Expect" section written specifically for that item. From there, admins can hit Edit to jump into the full authoring view with every knob and setting we've always exposed. The public read and the admin edit are now cleanly separated.
If you'd rather not maintain your own catalog end-to-end, the Vero-built catalog is the fastest way to stand up a serious training library on day one — and you can duplicate any item into your workspace to customize it further.

Redesigned Skill Assessments
Skill Assessments got a full rebuild this month. Every assessment is now a focused, four-question-per-skill AI conversation — short enough that busy people will actually finish it, structured enough that the results are comparable across a team. We shipped 60 pre-built assessments in the catalog covering the skills most in demand right now — from prompt engineering and agentic workflow design to sales discovery, structured feedback, and financial modeling — each with its own custom "What to Expect" description so a taker knows exactly what the assessment measures before they start.
For admins, assignment creation moved to a full-screen flow, and the results panel now surfaces per-skill mastery bands, question-level rationales, and an AI-generated summary of strengths and gaps. Assessments live in memory during the session and only persist on submit, which means retakes and previews don't clutter your data.

AI Readiness Analytics
The free AI Readiness Assessment we launched in June turned into something bigger this month: a full analytics section for organizations running the assessment across their teams. The new AI Readiness Analytics page rolls up scores across departments and divisions, highlights the skills with the widest spread inside a team, and surfaces the roles most and least ready for the AI initiatives you're planning.
Two pieces of it are worth calling out. Division Variance shows you where two teams doing similar work have very different readiness — usually a training signal, sometimes a hiring signal. Skill Spread shows you which specific AI skills are the long pole for each division, so the follow-up learning plan writes itself. From any tile you can click through to the underlying respondents and, with one more click, spin up the exact courses that close the gap.

August will focus on connecting the dots between AI Readiness Analytics and course assignment — one-click rollout plans generated from readiness gaps, with the right people assigned to the right pathways automatically.
